Being on diet is a very difficult task to do because you cannot eat any dessert, tasty & tempting snacks but what if you can have a delicious cake even if you are on diet & that too guilt free? Yes you heard it right in this article I am sharing a healthy diet cake recipe which you can have during your weight loss or weight management process so let’s see the process. This diet cake is also very filling so if you have a piece of it you will feel satisfied for a long time.
- 3 cups of oats flour
- 1 cup of semolina(suji/Rava)
- One third TSP nutmeg(jaiphal)
- 1 TSP Cinnamon powder
- 1 Cup Coconut sugar
- One third TSP baking powder
- Half TSP baking soda
- Any healthy dry fruits of your choice I am taking (pumpkin seeds, black raisins & Cranberry)
- Beetroot powder (optional)
- 3 TBSP of fresh homemade curd
- One and a half TSP vanilla essence
- Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
- 2 Cups of skimmed or low-fat milk
Oats: Oats is a low calorie & low-fat food, it keeps you filled for a long period of time & helps in weight loss, it is best for diabetic patients, thyroid & PCOD patients will take gluten-free oats in this recipe instead of normal plain oats. It has dietary fiber & protein in it.
Semolina: It has a complex carbohydrate which does not give sugar spike in your body & provides a high energy to your body which is very important for your body. Semolina digests slowly in your stomach so it keeps you full for a longer period of time which suppresses your hunger so it is very helpful in weight loss. It is very good for your weight loss. Method: Mix all the dry ingredients first & then add curd to it & mix it a little bit then slowly add milk to it & continuously stir it with a spatula so that no lumps will found. If your batter gets little liquidy do not worry about it in a few minutes oats flour will absorb all the liquid & become thick again. To prepare the baking dish to wrap it with an aluminum foil & grease it with some coconut oil, Now pour the batter in the baking dish.
Microwave: Preheat your microwave to 180 degree Celsius & bake this cake to 160 degree Celsius for 30-35 minutes. Your Delicious diet cake is ready to serve. Have this cake in your evening snacks time but do not overdo it have it in the moderation & you will enjoy your diet as well.
