- 1 TSP green Tea
- Half TSP Dried Papaya Seeds
- 1 cup of water (a little extra)
PAPAYA SEEDS: Yes you heard it right papaya seeds for weight loss & not only for weight loss but it also has numbers of health benefits. Papaya seeds are amazing for weight loss as they are fiber-rich, low in calories and a good source of protein, it has a diuretic substance which helps in your weight loss. Papaya seeds help in processing the food easily which regulates your metabolism due to which it is great if you want to lose weight. Papaya seeds are the great detoxifiers they remove all the toxins from your body this also makes it helpful in the treatment of liver cirrhosis (but always consult your doctor first in such condition). It has antibacterial properties which prevent you from any type of infection in your body or in the digestive system, this also makes it good for your kidney function. It improves your digestion. It is good for your fertility for men and women both. It is a natural contraceptive since ancient time women use it as their natural contraceptive option. It has beneficial minerals like phosphorous, iron and calcium. It improves your bone health as it contains calcium, iron in it makes your body generate red blood cells, it also prevents you from fatigue and weakness & improves your brain function as it contains phosphorous. METHOD: Take a cup of water (a little extra), add half TSP dried papaya seeds & bring it to the boil. When the water is boiled reduce that extra amount of water until it remains a cup of water. Turn the flame off & let it sit for 30-35 seconds then add green tea (because green tea should not be added to the boiled water) in this concoction,
cover it with the lid and let it brew for 5-10 minutes and your tea is ready to drink.
Doses: Take a cup of this tea once a day, one hour after your dinner.
Who should avoid this tea: Women who want to conceive should avoid this tea as papaya seeds have the natural contraceptive properties. A pregnant and lactating mother should avoid this tea. Patients using blood thinning medications should avoid this tea because papaya seeds have papain in it which increases the action of those medicines. Some people may have allergic to papaya seeds so in that condition kindly avoid it. Do not consume papaya seeds in large amount. This tea is amazing for diabetic patients but people who are taking medicines for their diabetes should avoid this tea as papaya seeds will lower down your sugar level which will be harmful to diabetic patients.
